President has sent the letter of selection to the Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan compliant with Section 86(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as corrected).
In an explanation yesterday in Abuja, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters( Senate) Senator Babajide Omoworare said that Aghughu has been going about as the Auditor-General since the intentional retirement of Mr. Anthony Mkpe Ayine from an endless supply of the compulsory retirement age of 60 (sixty) a long time on 25th October 2020.
The Auditor-General assign hails from Edo State and, holds a graduate degree in financial aspects; he is a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, and Associate individual from Chartered Institute of Taxation.
