EKITI ELECTION: SEGUN ONI DEBUNK RUMOUR ON DEAL WITH TINUBU
The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) during the current end of the week’s Ekiti State political race, Segun Oni, on Wednesday excused reports of him making an agreement with the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, to pull out of the governorship race in Ekiti for the candidate of opposition party, Biodun Oyebanji.
It was reported that, Oni exposed going into an arrangement with anybody, including Tinubu.
Allow me to say that this is obviously false, I have not seen Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for north of a year at this point. I’m hanging around for Ekiti individuals and I won’t think twice about interest of Ekiti individuals for anything.
“I’m not likewise frantic. I’m a satisfied individual and I am not an individual that can be purchased with cash, I can’t be bought. Along these lines, I didn’t meet anyone anyplace to think twice about bid”, Oni said.
The 2022 Ekiti State gubernatorial political decision will happen this Saturday (June 18, 2022). Officeholder APC Governor Kayode Fayemi is term-restricted and can’t look for re-appointment for a third term.
