Nigerian Comedienne, Damilola Adekoya, otherwise called Princess, has denied delivering the viral Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) film of Nollywood entertainer, Olanrewaju James (a.k.a Baba Ijesha), supposedly attacking her cultivate girl.
Nigerian Comedienne Damilola Adekoya, otherwise called Princess, has denied approving the arrival of the CCTV film showing entertainer Olanrewaju Omiyinka, assumed name Baba Ijesha, physically attacking her cultivate youngster.
Adekoya made the refusal why being interrogated by the lead safeguard counsel, Mr Babatunde Ogala, (SAN) during the preliminary of Baba Ijesha on Tuesday at an Ikeja Special Offenses Court.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Olanrewaju, 49, is confronting a six-tally charge of debasement of a minor recorded against him by the Lagos State Government.
Adekoya, notwithstanding, denied releasing the recording when she was asked by the safeguard in case she was liable for the essential film on the web and online media.
She said it was just the police she gave the duplicate of the CCTV film.
She said: “Gift Nwoko and ASP Musa of Panti Police Station were given over the recording on the guidance of the OC Legal, CSP Margaret Ighodalo.
“They (Nwoko and Musa) were the Investigating Police Officers (IPOs) of the case at Panti.
“I never delivered the recording to the media,” she demanded.
Equity Oluwatoyin Taiwo suspended the case until August 11 and 12 for continuation of preliminary.
